Technical Advisory Group (TAG) for Communication Partnership for Family Health (CPFH)
The Technical Advisory Group (TAG) and its specialized task forces were formed in the first phase of the program. TAG includes a group of representatives of health and population "Communication organizations", "HEALTH, POPULATION AND COMMUNICATION" -related national organizations involved in health behavior change communication. These organizations include representatives from six types of agencies, namely:
(1) Public Sector Organizations.
(2) Higher Councils and National Committees.
(4) The Private Sector.
(5) USAID/Cooperating Agencies and Contractors.
(6) The Media.
The TAG will oversee the program and facilitate the institutionalization of CPFH. A number of Task Forces were formed mostly from the TAG members to manage individual health components of the program. During phase one, these Tasks Forces were established and members were selected according to seven core issues: health communication, advocacy and support, community participation, education, institutional capacity building, and communications and information technology. TAG’s tasks are: planning, following up, and evaluating all the program’s activities, as well as coordinating these activities, unifying the communication messages, and technically and administratively promoting and supporting the program.
